Found on Decor8- Love it!! When I'm not blogging or working I am constantly thinking about change! My home is always evolving and I have an idea festering in my brain. It doesn't always make it to fruition but I am always thinking. I have a few projects on the go but my next makeover is going to be our master bedroom. It somehow feels like it takes last place on the list. It becomes a dumping ground for pieces from other rooms and so on. It's a make-do room and I really want it to be fabulous for many reasons! So I have found some inspiration and some ideas I thought I would share and then when it is finished I will show all. . . . .

I was downtown shopping yesterday and noticed there is still a strong presence of pastels, especially MINT. I never thought I would be drawn to it again . Especially after the mistake of choosing seafoam carpet in our very first house.! However it does have a certain charm. I saw a beautiful sheer blouse with a white colour contrasting nicely with the fresh mint. My daughter was on the hunt for the perfect minty/blue nail polish too. You wouldn't think that was so hard. . . a little too green here, a little too blue there! Anyway I digress, needless to say mint is in folks! Check out these funky and fresh examples. Benjamin Moore has some great minty paint colours to try. Take a look at these. So maybe a hint of mint is for you with a nail polish or a purse. Maybe you will go all out minty and paint a bathroom. I'm not sure what's for me yet, except maybe that blouse. . . .As usual I spent my free moments between work and family reading magazines, going to Chapters and reading blogs. I found some great pieces for the home and a fabulous new book. I grabbed the book and have been reading it ever since. The other pieces I don't have yet but you never know. . . . . One of them is a quick and easy DIY which I added to my ever growing to do list! Cupcakes and Cashmere- a fun how to book based on a successful blog. It talks about fashion, beauty, the home and entertaining. A modern girls guide to life.West Elm dresser- love the mix of wood tones, simple lines and it's graphic nature. Although it's a piece for the bedroom I would use it in my dining room.Love this black and gold bowl from IKEA. Right on trend. I'm not usually a gold fan but I could make an exception. . . . . . Quick and simple. Clock from IKEA with two added slim belts from H&M. ( from Korean blog- Naver)
