Hello yellow. 72 Mill Street
I don't know about you but I'm always up for checking out a new store, especially when it's local. Today was the opening of " Hello yellow" in Almonte. Erin and Vikki at one of my favourite haunts "Tin Barn Market" shared the news that a fun new spot was about to burst on the scene. Saturday afternoon rolled around and my daughter and I took a drive to take a look. Even the name pulled me in, short, catchy and of course yellow. I love yellow it makes me feel happy, uplifted and inspired! The store is in a great old building on the main street brimming with colour and character. The whole street including " Tin Barn" highlights the history of small town charm. I love the products, the displays and the pops of colour to entice you. I found a fabulous pair of yellow earrings to bring home and I will definitely be back for a cool light I fell for. The ladies were friendly and helpful and I wish them all the best with their new venture, although I.m sure they won't need it! Here are a few pics to wet your appetite but you should head over and see for yourself and say hello to yellow. Don't you just want to go in and see what's behind all the balloons? I really want some of these colourful handmade pillows. How about you? Maybe the funky lampshade? Love these light fixtures, couldn't decide on the shape then was told they can be either, change the shape when you feel like something new! Value for money and fun! Handmade Heaven- something for everyone. My Saturday treat from "Hello yellow" Through the yellow door- surprises in store. . . . . . . .
