- First thing's first, bring home five old pallet's from work.
- Next pull them apart- not easy by the way. I enlisted the help of my son. We tried prying apart but ended up using a saw to cut ends and then pulled. Took a while but eventually go the job done.
- Then I sorted the best pieces and cut them to fit the back wall of the powder room, creating a random pattern. I used a nail gun to attach them to the wall. At first this power tool scared me but soon I got the hang of it and went nail crazy! Power tools can be empowering! I did manage to break the first saw I used however. . Just don't tell anyone!
- To finish off to complete the look I was going for, I whitewashed the wood. To do this I used white paint and water in approximately 3:1 ratio. I'm not an exact person?!
