I have been noticing all around me the colour TEAL, in magazines today at Chapters ( getting my fix of Starbucks and my favourite design publications!) , fashion runways, at work when clients are asking for TEAL in their homes, lots of teenage girls for their bedrooms. I had my first love affair with this rich, royal colour in 1992 for my bridesmaid dresses and I feel it being rekindled! THE DEFINITION OF TEAL IS :- A BLUE-GREEN COLOUR NAMED AFTER THE " COMMON TEAL" A DUCK WITH TEAL AROUND IT'S EYES. IT WAS FIRST USED AS A COLOUR NAME IN 1917. It just shows inspiration can come from anywhere..................
