Well it's Friday and I just finished a new DIY project. A while back I saw a great old chair that had been painted and the seat had been reupholstered with a burlap coffee sack. It really caught my eye while visiting a favourite spot of mine Tin Barn Market and I thought add that to my project list! When I got home I found lots of other examples of coffee sack DIY on Pinterest and the creative wheels started turning. Take a look at all these cool examples. . . . I had a chair that I found hiding away in my mother-in-laws basement that had an interesting shape but was a bit banged up. I decided I could use it for the coffee sack DIY. Once I made the decision I had to find some bags to start the project. I went to visit a local free trade coffee shop called Equator to ask if they had any sacks to donate to the DIY cause. They put some out every week but for a while other people beat me to it but eventually I grabbed a few. Then I was ready to begin. . . . 1. Took the chair apart. |
