One of my favourite shows right now is " Salvage Hunters". It's Britain's answer to " American Pickers" and in my opinion the best answer! I love watching to see where Drew Pritchard ( incidentally my maiden name-maybe we're related) and his sidekicks go and what they find. They search through stately homes, barns, dusty old attics and they find anything from Victorian garden gates to giant galvanized water troughs. I'm addicted! I have always loved the history and the story behind unique and interesting items as well as the hunt to find them. While on vacation this summer in Nova Scotia I found a huge salvage yard crammed full of strange and wonderful treasures or junk depending on how you look at it!! Take a look at this pickers paradise. . . .
